Nei til islam: USA skal nå - ved lov - bekjempe fordommer - på islamsk initiativ og islamske premisser

David Wood er en iherdig og etter min mening sannferdig og «grunngitt» islamkritiker og mange fullstendig forblåste aktører vil kalle ham islamofob, noe det selvsagt ikke er grunnlag for, med mindre man lider av en eller annen form for irrasjonell frykt.

Se denne, den kan fort bli brukt mot Wood på ulikt vis, men med samme begrunnelse: Islamofobi.

Foreløpig kommentar: Wood argumenter ut fra kunnskap og logikk. Dette er «fremmedord» for oss – eller altfor mange av oss - i Vesten i dag. Men Wood – som alltid er rett på sak, og «faretruende» direkte, er faktisk logisk korrekt og redelig, og da ikke i nedsettende mening, snarere tvert imot. Men dette forstår ikke folk i dag. Logikk skal i dag betraktes som et utslag av imperialisme, tro det eller ei. Hvordan er vi komet dit?

Forslaget ble fremsatt av muslima Rep. Ilhan Omar, - fra Mogadishu - en kjent aktivist som mange uten å nøle vil kalle usa-hater og en som motarbeider, alltid noe vel robotaktig, Vesten ved enhver anledning i media. Og gammelmedia gir henne spillerom, til fortrengsel for mye annet, antakelig fordi gammelmedia vil ramme islamkritikk, også saklig og velbegrunnet islamkritikk, noe som er blitt en uhyggelig lite kreativ vane i Vesten i dag. Det er som om et samstemt Vesten sier: Islam er ikke sine tekster. Islam er våre «positive» emosjoner. Og vi er våre emosjoner. Se:

Wood: USA vil nå bekjempe islamofobia, men uten å ville definere hva islamofobia er for noe. Enhver kan nå straffes ytringer som tidligere var rettslig beskyttet (i Konstitusjonen).

Ilhan Omar: Det fins kynikere som vil se oss splittet etter religiøse … skillelinjer, fordi dette passer deres politiske agenda. Men jeg tror, at vi som amerikanere, at vi skal stå forenet mot alle former for bigotteri …

The bill calls upon the president to appoint a “special envoy” to fight “Islamophobia”; … Omar’s bill, however, is wrongly focused in all kinds of ways, not least of which is the fact that it will combat efforts to “promote racial hatred” against Muslims, even though Islam is not a race … …

“The office,” says the Washington Post, “would record instances of Islamophobia, including violence against and harassment of Muslims and vandalism of their mosques, schools and cemeteries worldwide, in reports created by the State Department.” … Christians are by far the most persecuted religious group.

Rep. Michael McCaul : … the bill “prioritizes the religious persecution of Muslims over the persecution of other religions.”

… But if the way that the word “Islamophobia” has been used …. propaganda or incitement will be based entirely on subjective criteria, and include even reporting about jihad activity and honest analysis of its motivating ideology.

McCaul noted this as well: “It is so vague and subjective that it could be used against legitimate speech for partisan purposes. Even the term ‘phobia’ [connotes] irrational fear, not discrimination.”

… the bill would be used “to silence dissent and critiques of terrorism.” … State Department … will likely spew antisemitic hatred and attack Western ideas throughout the world under the farce of protecting Islam.” Indeed.

Perry is under fire for “baselessly” and “falsely” claiming that “Omar is an associate of terrorists …

… the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which is indeed an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case, so named by the Justice Department. CAIR officials have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. … CAIR chapters frequently distribute pamphlets telling Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement. CAIR has opposed virtually every anti-terror measure that has been proposed or implemented and has been declared a terror organization by the United Arab Emirates. …

What’s more, the United Arab Emirates named CAIR a terror organization in 2014. Ilhan Omar has been a featured speaker at CAIR events …

Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-Texas) got to the heart of the matter: “This bill brought to the floor today is for one purpose only: to appease the hurt feelings of members who themselves have well-documented backgrounds of anti-American and antisemitic …. Can the corruption in our government be any more obvious?

How does half of Congress explain that their support of the Combatting International Islamophobia Bill grants legalized favor over a particular religion in the United States? The religion of Islam - which is also every bit as much a political system antithetical to everything America stands for under American law.

Not to mention that there are at least two other religions plagued daily all over the world by incidents of violence and hate: Christianity and Judaism. … Eyes now on the U.S. Senate. …
